Instrument Inspector

Supported Instruments

Instruments Supported by Instrument Inspector (ver. 2):

Barbieri Instruments

Barbieri Instruments can be driven by Barbieri Gateway software in manual upload mode or basICColor Catch (LFP and Spectropad) in full automatic upload mode. Especially for auto positioning option, ChromaChecker developed B-42 Instrument Inspector Target, but in manual positioning mode also other targets can be used.

Manual positioning in basICColor Catch (when using same physical position on the table) is very fast and effective.

Currently, support for Datacolor instruments is limited. Only colorimetrical data can be evaluated. There are also some software limitations. Please contact us to get the latest status on support.

Virtual Instrument

If your Instrument is not listed here, and you want to test is select Virtual Instrument on the list and try to upload measurement data. When preparing a measurement file for shipping, make sure that the CMYK reference list is exactly as specified for each target. Note that the values are to be specified for the second decimal point, and must match the 8-bit addressing.

It is best to ensure that the file format is compatible with one of the following:
