These Plugin Terms supplement the ChromaChecker End-User License Agreement (the "EULA") and apply only if you install or use the ChromaChecker portal Plugin. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the EULA. In the event of conflict, these Plugin Terms prevail for matters specific to this Plugin; the EULA governs everything else (EULA §2.4).
1. What this Plugin does
The Plugin opens the ChromaChecker web portal inside CC Capture, in an embedded browser, with a bookmark menu your Organisation can arrange. It starts at the operator login page (https://chromachecker.com/login/en/operator).
It is the same portal as in an ordinary web browser, and the same ChromaChecker Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to what you do there.
2. The embedded browser keeps its own cookies
Signing in creates a session, and the session cookie is stored on the workstation, in the embedded browser's own storage — separate from Chrome, Safari or Edge on the same machine. It persists between runs of CC Capture so an operator is not asked to sign in every time, and it is cleared when the operator signs out.
On a shared workstation this means the next person to open the Plugin may find the previous operator still signed in. Sign out at the end of a shift.
The portal's own cookie notice is dismissed automatically by default, because it appears on every page inside a window the size of a panel; the setting can be turned off in the Plugin's preferences, and turning it off does not change which cookies the portal sets.
3. Third parties
None introduced by this Plugin. The portal is ChromaChecker's own service. The portal's own pages may load ChromaChecker's usual analytics, as they do in any browser, under the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
4. What is stored
Bookmarks and the start address are stored in the workstation's application settings. Session cookies as described above.
Changes to this document
This document is versioned. A new version replaces this text at the same address, and the version you accepted is recorded by the application. Every earlier version is kept in the revision history below, so the text your Organisation agreed to can always be produced.
