Welcome to Instrument Inspector (common tolerances)

ChromaChcker has defined 7 classes of instrument accuracy.

Please note that it is intended to use with ChromaChecker T-42 Target (or X-42, I-42, V-42). The static analysis depends on the number of samples. The standard industry reference to 12 ceramic tiles is not the same as measuring 42 patches each measured in multiple M-condition. The proposed default class A for many instructors may turn out to be quite demanding in practice. If the requirements are determined on the basis of IGF (Instrument Gauge Factor), the user can change the class to a lower one. Maintaining a high-end regime can prove either costly or impossible without changing instruments to more accurate and stable.
