Register Instrument with CC Capture

Instruments supported by CC Capture will be registered automatically when first time connected - for all supported instruments, it is recommended to use cc Capture for this purpose. An additional advantage is that the serial number reported by Instrument might have leading zeros that are printed on the label ... and from the technical standpoint of view, they are different.  Please note that the instrument serial number is a supplemental key for user authentication - it is not just a number.

Track your Instrument 

Measure Instrument Inspector Target frequently to ensure that your device is in working condition and brings valuable data to your workflow. It is a very good habit to measure Target periodically ( once a week or month) to track instrument repeatability. When we see similar results we can trust that our production measurements are accurate.
