Automated solutions for Project QC CheckĀ

Here are the instrument scenarios available:

X-Rite i1iO

This implementation is very advanced - today the user may scan using Print Inspector with no direct support of the Project. The process is based on Virtual Control Strip technology where the regular control strip is replaced by the list of patches with XY coordinates. The user may test now and based on the features request we can extend the current solution

The following video is showing the system in action.

Please note that the rectangular area of the iO table can be in some direction larger. Active scanning area has an irregular shape and understanding it is possible to brake rectangular limits.

It is possible to use control strip placeholder technology. If for example, more packages use the same layout but different colors (series of similar products) one "map" of points to measure can be used for more products.

For larger sheets, it is possible to use a different layout for each corner and cover a 4 times bigger area than the iO table offers.  When DataMatrix barcodes are implemented (video) the whole process can be automatized and keep the QC tasks easier and fasted with minimal risk of human errors.

Barbieri LFP

ChromaChecker has developed a very similar solution (Virtual Control Strip) for Barbier Gateway. There is no barcode capability at the moment.  At this stage, an XML script has to be created manually. Please contact us directly for more information.

Konica Minolta Myiro-9 (FD-9)

It is potentially possible to extend Virtual Control Strip technology for Myiro-9. Please contact us for more information.
