Lighting E-Factor

This is a metric that is developed by ChromaChecker that corresponds to other E-Factors in the ChromaChecker System.

How we are calculating Lighting E-Factor

The calculation is based on virtual sample lists in 4 categories

  • CMYK — (typical printing process on coated paper)
  • Spot — Typical Spot Color Colorants
  • Fluo — set of fluorescent samples (specific task only)
  • Wide-gamut — ECG Printing process

The reference dataset is D50 - like most Printing Technology and Color Management.
