Log Analyzer
Read the log without reading the log.
Log Analyzer runs a rules-based analysis over a CC Capture log file and presents a report of what it found.
What it does for you
When something misbehaves, the answer is usually in the log - but the log is tens of thousands of lines and the answer is four of them. This reads them for you and reports what is known to matter: failed instrument connections, certificate rejections, cloud errors, crashes.
It also means a support conversation can start with a finding instead of an attachment.
What you can do
- Analyse the current session's log, or an older one
- A readable report rather than raw lines
- Recognises the common failures and explains them in words
Getting started
Log Analyzer is hidden by default - enable it in the Plugin Manager when you need it, and it appears as a view.
