Your E-Factor is 7-8

An E-Factor of 7 is representative of how many commodity-based printers and large “Web to Print” printers reproduce color. A blind audit of the top ten “Web to Print” printers in North America proved that 80% of them delivered E-Factor’s of 7 to 15. It is important to understand that if you must have a 7 E-Factor, you will need to speak with your printer and be very clear about your expectations. Most printers that print commodity work will not know what their E-Factor is, so be sure to clearly communicate your expectations in order for your requirements to be met.

ChromaChecker has PDF files that can be used to benchmark any printing process to quantify the devices E-Factor. Click here to learn more about ChromaChecker printer benchmarking.
